Leah McSweeney Reveals She "Upgraded" to a New NYC Apartment
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member has moved on from the apartment that left Luann de Lesseps speechless.
After leaving Luann de Lesseps nearly speechless over her apartment, Leah McSweeney has moved on to a new abode. "I upgraded my apartment," Leah said during Part 1 of The Real Housewives of New York City reunion before quipping, "Luann, you gotta come over."
For those who need a refresher, on the May 14 episode of the show, Luann was asked during an interview what she thought of Leah's downtown apartment, to which she replied, “Do you really want to know?” followed by a long pause. Finally, she offered, “I love how humble she is.”
Looking back on the experience, Leah shared there are no hard feelings over Luann's comments, explaining, "I don't take it personal."
While speaking to BravoTV.com in May, Leah explained that Luann may have just not been used to a downtown-style apartment. “I don’t think she gets it. Like, I don’t think she gets Financial District-type apartments,” Leah said at the time. “High ceilings! You know, not Upper East Side townhouse-type s--t. She just doesn’t get it.”
In June, Leah revealed via Instagram Stories that she hired New York-based home organizing company SPIFF to help her get settled in her new apartment. The company's official account shared a video of the in-progress work at the time, captioning the Story, “New place is coming together for [Leah.]”
In a separate Story, Leah showed off her newly-organized pantry, which now holds clear containers labeled for items including "snacks," "bars," "nuts," "granola," "crackers," and "dinner." Leah was clearly impressed by the ultra-tidy space, captioning her post, "Omg."
