Bethenny Frankel Was "Hesitant" to Try This Food... Then Called it the “Best I've Ever Had in My Life"
The Real Housewives of New York jetsetter was bowled over by the most unexpected surprise.
Though Bethenny Frankel has had rocky patches during her trip to New Zealand, things have gotten sweeter. Literally!
On April 12, The Real Housewives of New York City pal shared more footage from her trip Down Under on Instagram Stories. Showing the inside of The Butcher's Son — which Bethenny described as "a cool vegan restaurant in Auckland" — the former personal chef noted: "The world is getting way healthier."
She then showed off a glimpse of the menu, which offered everything from loaded sweet potatoes to beet burgers and banana cake. The group settled on nachos, flatbread with falafel, and a natural soft drink called Karma Cola.
But it was the dessert that (literally) took the cake. Panning over a glass case filled with tempting sweets, Bethenny said: "These are all raw desserts, and I was hesitant to try them. They're made with soaked nuts, et cetera. It's unreal. These the best raw desserts I've ever had in my life, ever." The clip showed everything from "Ginger Slice" cake to brownies and Snickers cheesecake.... so we don't need any more convincing!
