This Skincare Treatment Has Meghan King Edmonds Going Makeup-Free
"The glow is so real," The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared after her cosmetic procedure.
Meghan King Edmonds has a newfound glow — and The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is letting us in on the skincare treatment that has her sharing back-to-back makeup-free selfies.
This past weekend, the mother of three stopped by CosmetiCare in Orange County for a microneedling session. Not only did Meghan share her full experience on Instagram, she also answered questions from followers about the procedure and posted photos of her results.
For those who aren't familiar with the cosmetic method, microneedling involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny needles to help increase collagen. So naturally, one of the first questions Meghan received was "does the micro-needling hurt?" Meghan responded, "Nope bc you get numbing cream. Think of how your gums and lips feel when the dentist numbs you, then think about that whole feeling on your face."
Another IG user asked Meghan if she did the "blood transfer" option (aka the vampire facial). This is when dermatologists take a sample of your blood, from which the PRP is extracted, and inject it into your skin via microneedling. RHOC 'Wives Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd are fans of this bloody choice, but Meghan, not so much. "No no no I'm way too scared for that," she replied.
(Watch the video above for Shannon's take on the procedure.)
Once the treatment was done, Meghan shared a close-up selfie, which speaks for itself. Just look at that glow!
Less than 24 hours after the session, Meghan shared another selfie revealing some redness on her face from the tiny needles, but her glow was still intact. She also shared that her dark spots had "already disappeared or faded."
The OC stunner even showed off her makeup-free, radiant complexion at the airport. "I might become addicted to microneedling," she wrote in an IG post.
With results like this, we don't blame you, Meghan. Glow on!
