Alexis Bellino Had a "Driveway Pizza Party" for Her Son's 14th Birthday

Amid self-quarantine with her family, Alexis Bellino is determined not to let special occasions go unmarked. On Easter, she shared a snap of her pretty tabletop and added a message: "We get exhausted and we get bored, and we get anxious, but we cannot get numb to the little things in life that are the most valuable treasures." So when her son James' 14th birthday rolled around on May 4, the Orange County mama hosted a party that was festive and socially distanced. 

In an Instagram post from the weekend preceding James' birthday, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared photos from James' quarantined celebration. "The new 'Quarantine Birthdays' aren’t so bad! Driveway pizza party LOL!" she wrote. So, what does a driveway party entail? 

A video showed a procession of cars driving down Alexis' palm-tree-flecked street, honking to show James some love from a distance. Alexis also showed off cheerful rainbow and metallic balloons on her front lawn. It looks like the neighbors joined in on the festivities, too: Alexis' later photos showed her fellow neighborhood residents on folding chairs at the end of their driveways.

And, yes, there were sweets to chase that pizza. In another slide, we see James blowing out a sparkler set atop a pile of desserts.
