Lydia McLaughlin Just Added the Coolest Feature to Her Massive Pool
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum might have the most fun house in all of California.
At Lydia McLaughin's Orange County home, levity rules. In the video above, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum leads us through a tour of her gorgeous California abode. Pausing to point out a sparkling fixture in the living room, the former child star says: "We did a disco ball in here just because we don't take things too serious; we like to have fun."
In the dining room, which she calls "really fun," Lydia points out a sparkling banner that spells out happy. A chalkboard sign in her kitchen advertises a menu of "love," "joy," and "peace," and Lydia uses her formal dining room as a place to play ping-pong and grab a cocktail. "There is a lot of fun that happens in this room," the mom of three says. In short, Lydia's home was a whole lot of fun to begin with — and then she installed a zip line.
In her recent Instagram Stories, the magazine founder shared a peek at the new fixture spanning her humungous pool. "What is happening," Lydia wrote, captioning snaps of her husband and boys sliding across the line, which hangs between two palm trees. But ultimately, it seems that mama approves.
"[Doug] is the love of my life," she wrote, showing her husband giddily flopping from the zip line into the pool. This proves it once and for all: The McLaughlins just want to have fun.
