Peggy Tanous Shares Graphic Photos From Her Recent Cosmetic Procedure
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum got a plasma lift to tighten up her chin and target fine lines — and the photos are "freaky."
Like Cary Deuber and Braunwyn Windham-Burke before her, Peggy Tanous is kicking off the new year with a cosmetic tweak. Sharing the candid spirit of other past and present Housewives, Peggy is using her social media feed to show the nitty gritty details of her procedure.
In some recent posts, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared close-up photos of her face — and these weren't exactly glamour shots. In fact, they were much more fascinating than any filtered image could ever be: Who wouldn't want to know more about a jawline covered in plastic and later in small, slightly bloody dots?
In her Stories, the Orange County mom shared, "I know I look freaky right now. I've got numbing cream on me, and some plastic over it ... I am getting a Plasma Lift today ... It's nonsurgical, noninvasive, super easy, it only takes ... about 20 minutes." (The service uses a handheld device that transmits plasma flashes, or electrical arcs, onto the skin. The plasma flashes are said to shrink and tighten skin, and create new collagen.)
The aim of this quick service, Peggy explained, is to tighten up the area above her chin, and to target some fine lines on her lips and chin.
Afterward, Peggy came back to share that despite appearances: "There was no pain; the numbing cream's amazing ... There's just a bunch of little red dots; they're going to get darker."
The OC alum promised to keep her followers posted on her "journey," which did involve a little "itching and heat" the night after the procedure. But by day two, Peggy said that she had no swelling and no pain, and was "a happy camper." Keep scrolling to see the behind-the-scenes snaps from her treatment at OC Brow Game.
