Amid Cheating Scandal, Meghan King Edmonds Shares a Sweet Family Moment Over Homemade Milkshakes: "Heart Explosion"

It's been a tough time for Meghan King Edmonds, who recently opened up about her husband's infidelity and her son Hart's possible neurological condition. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, who maintains a blog, has been open and vulnerable with her followers about how she's feeling in the midst of the drama. In short, she's having as hard a time as any human would. But in spite of it all, the mom is reflecting on the sweetness in her family life. 

In a recent Instagram snap, Meghan shared a photo of her daughter Aspen sharing a milkshake with her stepdaughter Sutton. The milkshake was homemade by Mama for her twins' recent birthday party, and served in a glass that had sprinkles cascading down its sides. 

In her caption, Meghan wrote: "Big sister, Sutton, with her self-proclaimed 'favorite sibling,' Aspen (and the title is eagerly reciprocated) share a homemade milkshake out of a homemade sprinkle cup (both by mommy) while Papa holds it steady. Heart explosion city right here." 

Finding the joy in simple things and even a source of therapy in cooking, Meghan was happy to explain to fans in the comment section about how she made that picture-perfect sprinkle cup. After a follower asked how she got the sugary dots to stick on the glass, here's what Meghan wrote: "Keep them fresh in the fridge and make the shakes the morning before the event, then put in the freezer, and take [out] 5-10 minutes before serving."
