Here's What Gretchen Rossi Drank the Day Before Going to the Hospital to Have Her Baby
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi updated her Instagram fans on every step leading to her c-section delivery of baby Skylar Gray.
Gretchen Rossi has finally reached the magic moment in her long journey to motherhood through IVF: She's delivering her baby Skylar Gray today, July 10, via c-section. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum has been keeping her Instagram followers fully briefed on every exciting detail along the way — from Gretchen and dad-to-be Slade Smiley's over-the-top gender-reveal party to their outrageous baby shower... and every moment big and small in between.
That definitely has included intel about Gretchen's pregnancy diet and pregnancy cravings — down to what she was drinking the day before going into the hospital for her scheduled delivery: homemade almond milk!
She showed off her process from her kitchen in her Instagram Stories, telling followers, "It's so easy to make your own-plant based milk."
And she explained (convincingly) it's not nearly as hard as it looks. "I love having almonds around," she said, while demonstrating the process using her Almond Cow machine in a sponsored post. "I love making almond milk."
She also gave the recipe for whipping up your own batch at home, if you're so inclined — nine months pregnant, or not!
Gretchen's chocolate almond milk recipe includes two tablespoons of cocoa powder; two tablespoons of maple syrup; and one cup raw almonds, soaked for three to four hours. That's it!
