Does Robyn Dixon Think Candiace Bought Her $1.1M House Without Her Mom's Help?
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member shared her thoughts on the financial details of Candiace Dillard Bassett's recent home purchase.
Although Candiace Dillard Bassett's finances continue to a topic of conversation on The Real Housewives of Potomac, Candiace has made it clear that she and Chris Bassett are the only ones paying for the mortgage on their new house. As she explained on the show's Season 5 reunion, the $1.1 million abode "was purchased by [herself] and [her] husband."
Candiace's mother, Dorothy, was paying part of the couple's former townhouse mortgage for a period of time, but Candiace has shared that her mother has no involvement in the finances of this new home. As RHOP viewers know, her castmates have had plenty to say on the matter, and on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen's September 26 episode, Robyn Dixon was the latest to weigh in.
During a game of "revenge of the shady cake," Robyn was asked, "Do you honestly believe Candiace is paying for her entire mortgage without mama Dorothy's help?" Squeezing her eyes shut, Robyn said with a grin, "Yes, yes." Andy Cohen wasn't quite convinced by Robyn's response. "Do we believe [Robyn], shady cake?" he asked. "I don't know."
Karen Huger has also commented on Candiace's financial situation on WWHL. During the July 11 episode, Andy asked, "Karen, do you honestly believe Dorothy did not help Candiace and Chris finance their new million-dollar home?" Karen replied, "I do believe that. Candiace and Chris handled their business this time. I do believe it."
