See Inside Heather Gay's Utah Home Where She Displays Her "First Open Sin"
The placement of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member's bedroom is very strategic.
Although Heather Gay tries "not to spend a lot of time in the kitchen" of her Utah home because, as she explained in the video above, "I'm not big on dishes or cooking," she does use one notable appliance in the room.
"This was my first open sin," The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member said while pointing to a Keurig. "The coffee maker machine that I bought and brazenly displayed on my counter top."
Because "The Mormon 'Word of Wisdom' states coffee and tea are harmful to the body," as noted in the video above, Heather admitted, "For the first year I had it, I would only keep out hot chocolate pods because I didn't want anyone to think I was drinking coffee."
Another conversation-starting piece in the chic room is the "Dolly Parton spirit candle" on display. "She is extra in all the things feminine," Heather explained. "Just like an icon of femininity but she's also a badass business woman and a good human being. So we keep the Dolly spirit burning. "
Although Heather doesn't get much use out of her kitchen, she spends plenty of time in her gorgeous bedroom. "We call it the magic room, the boom boom room," she said. "This is just the love nest where everything good in my life happens."
"I planned this house with the bedroom being just right by the garage door," she added. "So there'd be, like, an easy sneak-in for all my suitors."
