Get a Tour of Kelsey Barnard Clark's Incredible Alabama Home
The chef showed us the “dream” item she bought after winning Season 16 of Bravo's Top Chef.
Nearly every item in Kelsey Barnard Clark's Dothan, Alabama house tells a unique story. As seen in the video above, exclusive to Bravo Insider, the Top Chef Season 16 winner's dreamy dining room features the silver her grandmother won in golf tournaments; her impressive garden provides food for her family, restaurant, and neighbors; and her stunning kitchen is centered around one major accomplishment in her career.
"It started out all white and then when I won Top Chef, I used some of that money to buy my dream oven through my Williams Sonoma prize package," Kelsey recalled in the video above while showcasing the La Cornue appliance. "The color scheme of my whole kitchen kind of got pulled together from there. The whole kitchen is sort of based around the color of this oven."
Although she spends "90 percent" of her time in the kitchen, it's safe to say that Kelsey, who at the time was just days away from welcoming her daughter, Evelyn "June" Clark, was ready to get more use out of her bar area, exclaiming: "Literally in two days I'll start being able to enjoy again!"
Filled with vintage charm and family heirlooms, Kelsey's home has a designated place for everything. "I'm definitely very organized all the time," she said while showing her refrigerator and pantry. "Obviously I'm a working mom, I own a restaurant, so for me, I try to just keep things really clean and organized."
One area not as pristine, Kelsey admitted, is the backyard chicken coop she built with one of her employees. While walking around the space, occupied by "14 chickens and one rooster," Kelsey explained with a laugh, "They're very messy."
