Bravo's Top Chef Season 15 competitor Chris Scott is among the celebrity fans of the buzzy, controversial Keto diet — in fact, this summer he revealed that he lost 20 pounds by only "sort of" doing the Keto diet. So how's the chef doing with the diet now? Chris took some time out from prepping to open his new restaurant, Birdman Juke Joint, to update The Feast on his progress.

In short, he's still doing Keto... sort of. "I mean all I really did was just decrease the amount of sugar and carbs," he said. "Here's how I start my day: I wake up, I drink water and coffee until about noon-ish. From like noon till about 4, I’m just eating raw vegetables, more water, more coffee, and nuts. And then around 5 or 6 [p.m.], I’ll eat a big salad with some protein in it. And then maybe later on that day... a spoonful of ice cream. And then after that, that’s kinda it!"

Chris told us that he went from 205 pounds to 180 in about a month and a half — and now he's just trying to maintain. "Now that I’m in it, it’s easier to maintain," he told The Feast. "If someone makes a bowl of pasta, I’ll take a bite or two. I’m not gonna kill myself over it. I’m not that’s strict. Plus being a chef and traveling so much, and having so many colleagues of mine all across the country — I’m not gonna go to their place and not eat!"
Now that sounds doable — and sensible.
