Jax Taylor *Already* Considers Himself to Be a Daddy — And We Have the Proof

Jax Taylor and his fiancé Brittany Cartwright are raising two little ones.

We Discovered Jax Taylor's Hidden Domestic Talent

Sure, a few of Jax Taylor’s Vanderpump Rules pals may already be talking kids, but he and fiancé Brittany Cartwright are just parents to two adorable dogs, Kingsley and Monroe (for the time being anyway). We asked him how he’s doing as a responsible pet parent and he confessed that, not only do he and Brittany call themselves Mommy and Daddy in their house, they also have a song just for their pups. Hear Jax for yourself in the video above.

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

Yes, he may have done some things in the past that could seem (or definitely were) irresponsible, but even he knows you can’t be giving your pets Chardonnay — and really helped the host of the new Adulting series learn how to be a better kitty mommy to her two cats.

That got us thinking since it’s a topic that’s hotly debated among pet owners and non-pet owners alike, how do you feel about calling yourself mom or dad when you don’t have any “kids” with two legs? First off, giving birth does not automatically a good mother make … and the dictionary definition is that a parent is “a person who brings up and cares for another” and that’s 100 percent what all good pet owners are doing anyway. I’m proud to admit that I’m the mama of only Beau, who stepped in as the Bravo HQ mascot in the video above, and I’m definitely with Jax (and Brittany) on this one.
