Lisa Vanderpump has been known to go into business with her former SURvers. As Bravo viewers have seen, the Vanderpump Rules boss partnered with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz to open Tom Tom together in 2018, and she has advised Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix on their upcoming sandwich shop, Something About Her. But would she ever go into business with her fellow Brit James Kennedy

When James appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on April 26, he made us wonder! He jokingly referred to a new business venture that had us seriously wondering: Wait, is James going to open a bar with Lisa and Ken Todd!?

During a game called “Are! You! Jealous!?” the Vanderpump Rules DJ shared whether he was envious of certain situations his castmates are in. When asked if he’s jealous that Lisa and Ken are in business with Sandoval and Schwartz, James responded: “I mean, it’s about time we open a British pub in L.A.” It’s an interesting proposition!

To clarify the Toms situation, Vanderpump Rules documented Lisa, Ken, Sandoval, and Schwartz opening Tom Tom back in 2018. The Toms each made a $50,000 investment for 5% of the business.

On the March 8 episode of Vanderpump Rules Season 10, Lisa and Ken offered to give them their investment back so they could use it to open their new bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s. “You can have your investment back, and we will still give you the option to buy back into Tom Tom within a year,” Lisa said. Ken added, “What she means is if you become desperate and you need to buy [their partner Greg] out, or whatever, the money’s there.”

Sandoval responded: “I feel like after four years of working at Tom Tom and putting in a good amount of what I would say is sweat equity, to be offered just like our initial investment back doesn’t seem quite fair.”

Of course, the Toms aren’t the only Vanderpump Rules cast members going into the hospitality business. Another question James answered during the game was “[Are you] jealous of [Katie Maloney] and [Ariana Madix’s] upcoming sandwich shop?” The answer? No! “So happy for them,” James said. “Delicious!”

The sandwich savants plan to open their shop later this year, and they’ve already released some eye-catching merch to promote their “delicious” new business. As to whether Lisa and Ken are involved in this venture, Lisa clarified her involvement during her own appearance on WWHL on March 8.

When Andy asked Lisa on behalf of a viewer: “[Are you] still planning on investing in Something About Her if you haven’t already?” Lisa declared, “I was never planning [on investing].”

“I’m there to support them,” she continued. “I don’t want to be in business with every single person who works for me, but I’m there to support them.”
