This Is Why Lala Kent Hates Hosting People at Her House

Last year, Lala Kent declared her “backyard dreams [were] coming true" as she made big plans to redo her home's outdoor space. However, now that the stunning backyard is complete, the Vanderpump Rules cast member isn't exactly excited to have her friends hang out there.

On the November 2 episode of the show, Lala prepared to have some of her castmates over for a backyard dinner, but she wasn't feeling totally confident in her entertaining skills. "Everyone knows that I hate hosting because I'm not great at it," she said in an interview. "I need to step my game up. I definitely can't invite these girls over and say, 'Bring your own White Claws and pop open a bag of Doritos.'"

With that in mind, Lala invited Ariana Madix to help set up for the evening and offered her guests chips, guacamole, salad, and other food. When temperatures dropped as the night went on, the group decided to move the party to Lala's hot tub. 

While Lala doesn't consider hosting to be her top talent, she did put together an incredible bash earlier this year to celebrate Give Them Lala Beauty. The event featured the brand's name in marquee lights, a bathtub filled with a variety of balloons, and custom cookies.
