Holland Taylor Slid into Sarah Paulson's DMs on Twitter to Woo Her
Social media was actually responsible for bringing Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor together.
Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor went public with their romance in 2015, and the two actresses (who have a 32-year age difference) are still going strong. Taylor may be in her 70s, but Paulson just explained on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she is quite tech-savvy when it comes to dating.
A caller to the Bravo Clubhouse wanted to know how Paulson and Taylor met, and Paulson shared that they first met in passing years ago, when they were both dating other people.
"And then there was like a Twitter thing that happened!" she revealed.
Paulson and Taylor's paths crossed again while filming a PSA for their mutual friend Martha Plimpton.
"We breezed by each other and then we started following each other on Twitter and... " she said, throwing up her hands.
"So Holland Taylor slid into your DMs?" fellow guest Billy Eichner asked.
"She actually did!" Paulson confirmed.
Andy then shared that singer Ricky Martin told him that he met his husband on Instagram through DMs, showing that one never knows when — and where — romance will come a-calling.
