In case you're unfamiliar with Andy's BFF, you might find this 2006 blog post, entitled "Who the Hell is Bruce?" helpful. But if you want the Cliff Notes on this very important person in Andy's life, here's what you need to know right now:

Bruce's grandfather Pio Bozzi helped found The Palm restaurant in New York City back in 1926 and for the past 35 years, Bruce has carried on his family's legacy by serving as an executive at The Palm Restaurant Group. But now, he's stepping away to begin something new.

In a recent Instagram post, Andy shared photos of himself and his friend, along with snapshots of special moments at The Palm.

"Today is emotional," the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host wrote. "My best friend [Bruce Bozzi] is stepping away from The Palm after 35 years and a lifetime of memories. What did Bruce do for the Palm? What didn’t he do? More than anything, he created a FEELING... a feeling that being at the Palm meant family, home, celebration, and being welcome. The pivotal moments in my adult history are associated with food and celebration at the Palm, thanks to Bruce. I’m happy to say I was also there to cheer on he and his family as they opened Palm West on 50th Street, and most recently the Palm in Beverly Hills, which also hosted my (ok, iconic. It was iconic) baby shower."

(Indeed, it was. See the clip above.)

Andy continued: "I was with Bruce in ‘95 when he would come home come home from 10 hours expediting orders in the East Hampton Palm kitchen (smelling funky), and I’ll be there with him as he continues “Lunch with Bruce” on @radioandysxm (smelling like roses, no less). I love you Bruce, and am in awe of your 35 years helping to build the Palm into the institution it is today. It sure won’t be the same, but man am I full of joy and gratitude at the memories you gave us all. ALSO - I cant wait to share Bruce’s next chapter with you soon. I’m involved, and couldn’t be more excited."
