Amanda Batula Tearfully Admits She Has “PTSD” From Kyle Cooke Cheating on Her
During Summer House Season 8, Episode 8, Amanda Batula opened up about how Kyle Cooke's infidelity affects her today.
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula are at a crossroads in their relationship and marriage on Summer House Season 8, and Amanda is now sharing some more insight into where her trust issues come from.
As longtime fans of the Bravo series may remember, Kyle admitted to cheating on Amanda during Season 3 — and his infidelity almost cost him the relationship.
Fast-forward to Season 8, Episode 8, which aired on April 11, and Kyle and Amanda met with a relationship coach, who got to the bottom of their recent problems.

Amanda Batula reflects on Kyle Cooke's past cheating
During the session, Amanda acknowledged that it can be hard for her to have so much overlap between her personal and professional life. Since she started working for Loverboy, Amanda feels like she's constantly under Kyle's microscope.
"I'm just always questioning myself and being indecisive, and never feeling like I'm making the right decision or that I'm good enough," she told the coach. "So, just realizing that I don't get that from you sometimes, too. It's just a big circle."
"I'm always wanting more," Kyle admitted.
The coach then wondered if Amanda's tendency to not feel good enough stems from something deeper. Amanda confirmed that Kyle's past infidelity has had a lasting impact on her.
"It's not that he cheated on me so long ago — and people talk about it all the time that I'm like, so caught up on the cheating, or that I bring it up — it is the PTSD from that instance, and it's easier to just sum it up in 'He cheated on me' than to tell you a sob story of everything I've been through since," she added.
When did Kyle Cooke cheat on Amanda Batula?
During the Summer House Season 3 premiere, which aired in 2019, Lindsay Hubbard dropped a bombshell that she had heard a rumor that Kyle had cheated on Amanda.
"Our entire circle of friends knows that Kyle cheated on Amanda," she said in an interview on the premiere. "And I'm pretty sure Kyle knows that I know. But, we've never spoken about it."
Later on in the season, Kyle discussed what happened.
"A year ago, I was on a guys' trip, I blacked out, and I woke up with a girl in my bed," he said. "I've never felt worse in my entire life."
He also talked about the infidelity with Amanda.
"I didn't know I had it in me to cheat on you," he said.
