Amanda Shares News on Moving: "Remove Myself" from NYC — and Kyle — for "Month at a Time"

Amanda said on the Summer House After Show that "Kyle's not there yet at all" when it comes to relocating from New York City to New Jersey. 

Kyle shared a similar sentiment on the After Show, explaining, "I do want a house where my kids can play in a yard and play with their neighbors, but we don't have kids yet. We're not even trying to have kids."

"I would also feel completely cut off from society — Amanda's okay with that, I'm not — but the thing that scares me the most is if we prematurely jump out to the 'burbs, I just feel like I'm gonna be trapped," Kyle continued. "Amanda's very content sitting on the couch watching TV. She's not good at keeping up with her friends and making efforts to be social with them. If I work a lot, I need a social outlet. And I would feel completely cut off from society."

Yes, but Kyle explained on the Summer House After Show that they're still struggling with issues discussed on Season 8. "We're not truly functioning as this partnership where it's like, 'Alright, you do this, I do that. I'm gonna work and pay the bills, you can help and cook dinner,'" he said. "I just feel like there's so much onus on me."

Amanda said on the Summer House After Show that rather than continuing to look at houses in New Jersey, she and Kyle are leaning toward "getting a different apartment in a different neighborhood that has outdoor space [and] is more family-oriented."

The couple is also considering moving into "a work-live space" that would double as Loverboy's headquarters. Amanda shared that Kyle recently found such a space that's three stories: "The first floor would be everyone working, and then the second floor was the bedroom, and the third floor was the kitchen [and] living room."

Amanda wasn't a fan of the idea, though.
