See Why Lala's Confronting Ariana in a Tense Moment: "You Didn't Come to Her Defense"

When a group photo featuring Scheana Shay and Tom Sandoval standing next to each other hit the internet during Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Episode 6, Scheana quickly started to garner criticism for what some perceived as her being too friendly with Tom despite how badly he hurt her best friend, Ariana Madix.

Addressing the photo controversy while speaking to Lala Kent, Scheana said, "I'm exhausted having to f-cking defend myself for how I stand in a goddamn photo. It [was] a girl's birthday and she's like, 'Can I get a photo with everyone?' and I'm like, 'Sure!' and I stand and then [Tom Sandoval] goes and stands right by me. Then that photo gets out." 

Lala asked if Ariana had stepped in to defend her, but Scheana replied, "No, of course not."

Lala Kent's Confrontation of Ariana Madix on Vanderpump Rules Season 11

In the above sneak peek, Lala broaches the topic of the photo by noting that the entire Lake Tahoe trip "was weird." 

"I've never seen Scheana this upset, ever," Lala continues. "Like, she was like a shell of a person. I think her whole thing is, if I go somewhere where [Tom Sandoval's] around, can I be able to enjoy myself and have fun with him on a very surface level?"

Ariana, however, argues she's "not asking her to f-cking fight him when she sees him." In fact, she adds, "I'm not asking her to really do anything."

Lala then brings up that Ariana "didn't come to her defense at all" over the photo controversy.

"I'm not gonna post and have my sh-t reposted as headlines and stuff," Ariana says, to which Lala replies, "Even for your friend? You couldn't tell all these people who are your stans ... 'I love Scheana, she's a great friend, knock it off'?"

Ariana's answer? "I guess I could."
