10 Things You Didn't See at the Southern Charm Season 5 Reunion

Another Southern Charm reunion has come and gone, but we learned some very important things along the way. From Craig Conover not being able to sew in 3D to how many times Kathryn C. Dennis and Shep Rose really hooked up, our minds were blown again and again during the sit-down with Andy Cohen.

But since this is the Southern Charm crew we're talking about here, you can imagine that there were some equally entertaining goings-on even before they took the stage. Lucky for you, The Daily Dish was on set at the reunion, and we're revealing all the sweet, silly, and secret-spilling moments that went down behind the scenes.

Cameran Eubanks and Kathryn C. Dennis Share Their Kids' Latest Milestones

Kathryn may have been away from her 4-year-old daughter Kensie and 2-year-old son St. Julien during the filming of this season's reunion, but her children were definitely with her in spirit. Kensie even gave Kathryn a flower, which she put into a plastic bag and brought with her to the reunion. "I've got a little photo album of them that I look at whenever I need to remind myself that life is normal outside of this," Kathryn told The Daily Dish backstage at the reunion.

Craig and Cameran were couchmates at the reunion.

As Craig and Cameran Eubanks had some playful banter while getting ready for the reunion, the Southern Charm lawyer revealed that he used to watch his friend on The Real World when she was on the series' installment in San Diego in 2004. "Isn't Cameran so pretty, it's unfair? I used to watch her [on The Real World]," Craig shared. "Everyone in America was in love with her back then."

Shep brought a book with him that he kept in his dressing room backstage at the reunion, in case of any downtime. We imagine anyone would want to chill out with a good book during this drama-filled day.

Kathryn shared in her Instagram Story that the Southern Charm reunion set reminded her of Patricia Altschul's iconic piazza at her home in Charleston. "I think they did a pretty f---ing great job," she said. "It's been a while since I've been there, but I still do remember." 

They also have similar taste in clothing! Both of these gents were decked out in designs by Salvatore Ferragamo on the big day. 

The Charmers Reveal the Inspiration Behind Their Reunion Looks

Shep’s socks were just as hot as his outfit: They had red chili peppers on them.

Austen and Naomie Olindo palled around with Andy on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on June 21.

Austen Kroll decided to try out a new look and wear his glasses to this season's reunion, which garnered Andy's seal of approval. Cameran then joked, “Uh, oh, Shep, you might be getting replaced as Andy’s favorite."

Kathryn took a break from being in the hot seat and tried on Andy's spot at the reunion on for size after the sit-down was all over. "Cheers to the Season 5 reunion being done," Kathryn said while holding a glass of sweet tea that was part of the reunion set in a video in her Instagram Story. "I'm in Andy's throne feeling very important, loving it. I can't imagine what it would've been like to sit right here in between all the craziness. Like a ping pong match!"

Shep and Craig got a feel for what it's like behind-the-scenes of the reunion when they had some fun in the control room. "We gotta stop convincing people to put us in charge," Craig joked on Instagram.

Despite all the drama this season, the Southern Charm crew had a night out on the town after the reunion. No hard feelings here!
