Here's Why Paige DeSorbo Was Missing from Summer House
The Summer House cast was "one [person] down" during a memorable Hamptons weekend.
After an eventful weekend on Summer House Season 8, Episode 3, the cast members headed back to the Hamptons in Episode 4 — but this time, they were without Paige DeSorbo.
The episode kicked off with West Wilson, Ciara Miller, Jesse Solomon, and Gabby Prescod chatting in a car as they left New York City. After discussing what West and Jesse did when they hung out "all week," Ciara and West's date (which included "dinner and two bars"), and the group's backyard camping plans, Ciara revealed that Paige would be missing from the house that weekend.
Why was Paige DeSorbo missing on Summer House Season 8, Episode 4?
Ciara explained, "We're one [person] down this weekend. Paige is in Albany."

Because Paige has the primary bedroom to herself this season, Jesse was quick to ask, "So, I'll take her room?"
But while Jesse was focused on a temporary room upgrade, West joked that Paige being away gave him an opportunity to get closer to Ciara.
"So, Paige is gone, who is, Ciara's probably her bestie in the house," West said, before Jesse finished, "You want to replace Paige." Indeed, West quipped, "That seems like an open f-cking window to me."
Where is Paige DeSorbo from?
While Paige's housemates didn't share exactly what she was doing during her weekend away from the Hamptons, she was likely spending time with her family. Paige is from Loudonville, New York, which is just outside of Albany. She often goes back to the house she grew up in to see her family and celebrate holidays.
Paige's New York City apartment being so close to her family is a big reason she has been hesitant to relocate to Charleston with Craig Conover. As she explained to Craig on Season 7, Episode 9 of Summer House, "I have no friends in Charleston, I don't know anyone. My whole career is [in New York], my family's in New York. I don't want to leave my mom."
When will Paige DeSorbo be back on Summer House?
It seems Paige will be back in the Hamptons for Season 8, Episode 5, which will air on March 21, and she's bringing a special guest. During Episode 4, Ciara shared at a group dinner, "Craig is coming next weekend."
