Chef Ben Robinson Was "Horrified" by "Disgrace" Mila Kolomeitseva, Calls Her Resume "a Lie"
Below Deck Med's fill-in Chef Ben Robinson reflects on Mila Kolomeitseva, whose role he would later replace.
Below Deck Mediterranean kicked off Season 4 with a a female chef for the first time in franchise history — but it didn't go so well for Mila Kolomeitseva. After serving pre-fab taco shells to yacht charter guests, and licking a steak meant for charter guests, she was eventually fired by Captain Sandy Yawn. After third stew Anastasia Surmava did a stint in the galley — and that too ran its course — Ben Robinson came back aboard to serve as Sirocco chef.
So what did Ben think of the chef he would eventually replace? Well, first of all — he has strong doubts about her claims that she attended Le Cordon Bleu in Paris for her culinary training. As a matter of fact, in the clip above, he went so far as to call out what he considers to be a "lie" on her resume.
"She wasn't ready. I doubt she was culinary trained to be honest. I really do," he said. "I think it was a lie." (FWIW, many people voiced their doubts — including Anastasia.)
Ben also said he was "horrified" with what he saw of Mila — and even went so far as to caller her a "disgrace" as well.
