Angelina Jolie’s New Shorter Hair Proves That Sometimes Less Is More

Fall has definitely become the official season for hair makeovers. We're not sure if there's something going around in the Hollywood air, but lately it feels like everyone has been debuting a new look. In the past few weeks alone, celebrities such as Cara Delevingne, Michelle Williams, and Ariana Grande have all made major hair changes. But while these stars opted for drastic changes like buzz cuts and silver hair, actress Angelina Jolie decided to go with a more subtle approach.  

The mother of six recently stepped out for the Faces Places premiere in Hollywood, and while she donned her signature simple beauty look — neutral makeup with a classic red lip — there was something different about her. The filmmaker had a fresh, shorter 'do!

The change is so understated that at a first glance you might miss it. But once you take a closer look, you'll notice that the actress has taken a few inches off her trademark long brunette strands. Her hair now falls shoulder-length in a layered cut, which gives the actress a fresh vibe fall. 

What inspired the hair change, well that's still up for debate. Perhaps Jolie caught a case of scissor fever like her fellow celebs, or it could also be a fresh new start for the actress after her split from ex-husband Brad Pitt. 

Either way, the star looks beyond fab.
