Dad-to-Be George Clooney Will "Avoid Danger" and "Be More Responsible" With Travel

You know, just your typical parent concerns.

George Clooney is settling down in so many ways: The formerly avowed bachelor is actually prepared to make a lifestyle change that often faces new parents: a serious tweak in format to his travel style.

The star and wife Amal are expecting twins in late spring — perhaps you'd heard? — and that has forced him to reconsider some of his more adventurous and risky approaches to globetrotting.

Speaking to the French outlet Paris Match, and translated in People, George said: "We decided to be much more responsible, to avoid the danger."

But he's not referring to mere mortal pregnancy- and family-travel concerns like zika — he was referring to travel he and Amal have previously done to some of the most dangerous places on the planet.

"I won’t go to South Sudan anymore, or the Congo," he told the pub. "Amal will no longer go to Iraq and she’ll avoid places where she knows she isn’t welcome.”

As an international human rights lawyer, Amal's travel to such places has been about more than thrill seeking — she even took on ISIS on behalf of a client. Just your typical twin-mom-to-be, balancing work and life.

That said, the family still plans to stay on the move after babies... which should come as no surprise.

“We have the chance to live between three countries: Italy, America, and England,” he said, referring to the couple's various pieces of real estate around the globe. “But as soon as the children go to school, it’ll be necessary to choose where to settle."

We can't wait to see the Babies Clooney airport style... even if they will just be setting around mainly to first-world countries.
