Vanessa Hudgens Went Platinum—and Paris Hilton Loved It

It actually really suits her.

Ever since her High School Musical days, we've known Vanessa Hudgens primarily as a brunette with a gorgeous dark mane. But this week, she decided to see what life is like as a blonde. Not just any blonde, a white blonde worthy of Daenerys. This summer's platinum hair color trend just won't quit! Here's what Vanessa looks like with ice blonde hair, it's pretty stunning.

BLONDE for So you think you can dance!!!!!

This is the big change from the slick-backed bob she wore to the VMAs over the weekend, and just like that, the next photo she posted was back to the bob. So this blonde is probably a wig, as Teen Vogue reports, styled by hair guru Chad Wood.

Vanessa's Instagram of her new blonde 'do with the caption "BLONDE for So you think you can dance!!!!!" got over a million likes and one glowing comment from a fellow very famous blonde. Paris Hilton, who's been known to dramatically change her hair color, wrote "Beautiful Blondie!" in the comments with the heart eye emoji AND the fire emoji.

DEATH TO THE OLD TAYLOR lol #havingwaytoomuchfun @taylorswift

So will Vanessa go ice blonde for good? Or is it just for one ep of her gig as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance? She followed up her first hair post with a very extra video of her own rendition of Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do." Paging Taylor, because this must be Vanessa's squad audition tape to join Tay's squad.
