You Have to See Gwen Stefani's Punk-Princess Ballgown
The singer wore a stunning dress to accept Glamour's Icon award.
Last night, an A-List crew gathered in Los Angeles for Glamour's Women of the Year Awards. You've already seen Ashley Graham—and her little doll, too—at the event's daytime summit. But, we can't leave you without a glimpse of pop's reigning punk princess. That'd be misery.
To recap: Gwen Stefani took home the "Icon" award last night. And to mark the occasion, she wore a look that truly embodied her (also iconic) sense of style. Stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn oufitted the star in an ombre gown from Marchesa's spring summer 2017 collection. You can peep it on the runway, above. Now, check it out on our girl:
Like Gwen herself, the dress is at once feminine, dramatic, sweet, and rebellious. And wait till you see it from behind.
With Blake Shelton as arm candy, the singer wore her hair in a loose, fuss-free topknot. Gwen's makeup was relatively simple, with a glossy nude lip and light blush that let her clean skin shine through and her bold lashes pop.
Gwen went on to bat those lashes plenty at her favorite country singer, whom she thanked for "kissing her back to life." Check out her heartfelt speech—and see the dress in action—below.
