Amid Divorce, What Will Become of Caroline Stanbury’s Incredible Dubai Mansion?
The Ladies of London alum, who is splitting from husband Cem Habib, shares an enormous property to consider in divorce proceedings.
Though in our minds Caroline Stanbury will always remain in London, she did in fact move to Dubai several years ago for her husband Cem Habib’s job. And in usual Caroline fashion, she didn’t just move to any ol’ house. Nope, she and her three kids took over a stunning, 13,500-square-foot townhouse. Sadly, the Ladies of London couple has decided to divorce — fear not, according to Caroline, she and Cem remain “good friends” — which means the future of their abode is decidedly up in the air.
What’s at stake? Well, there are six bathrooms and six bedrooms (one of which Caroline turned into a humongous custom closet!), and then there are the multiple family rooms, a chef’s kitchen, and a sleek dining room, all of which can turn into seamless indoor/outdoor living spaces thanks to disappearing sliding glass doors. And given the steamy Dubai temps, outdoors is decidedly where the family spent a lot time and rightly so considering how amazing the home’s al fresco areas are! A beautifully-manicured backyard accents the sunken entertainment area for lounging and an infinity-edge pool for staying cool. Also outside: That white art installation instructing one and all to “RELAX.”
While the property itself is stunning, Caroline and Cem are also likely considering the home’s myriad pieces of artwork, luxurious furnishings, and fixtures, which probably add up to a small fortune.
