Not Everyone Is Happy With Anila Sajja's New House

The Married to Medicine newcomer got some "hurtful" feedback on her future home.

Anila Sajja's Mom Is NOT a Fan of Anila's New House

On Married to Medicine's March 21 episode, Anila Sajja's mother, Manjula, arrived for a visit ready to share her opinions on everything from where to store food to Anila's husband Dr. Kiran Sajja's hesitation to operate on her. "I try to have patience," Kiran explained in an interview during the episode. "I try to ignore."

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Something Kiran couldn't quite ignore, however, was his mother-in-law's negative comments about the house he and Anila are building. In the above preview for Married to Medicine's March 28 episode, Anila and Kiran excitedly took Manjula and Anila's father, Mahesh, to their new abode, but the outing didn't quite go as they had hoped. Things got off to a noticeably tense start when Manjula suggested the material for part of their fireplace "should be marble," to which Kiran replied, "It should be whatever we pick," followed by Manjula quickly retorting, "Change it."

After Manjula went on to declare the guest bedroom was "not big enough" and needed a balcony; the great room should have higher ceilings; and that she didn't like the kitchen, Anila expressed her frustration.

"It's hurtful because this is something that I've been looking forward to," Anila explained in an interview. "This is our dream home."

However, Manjula stood by vocalizing her thoughts, explaining, "I'm an opinion girl...Whatever is wrong, I'm telling."
