Evy Poumpouras

Evy Poumpouras is a former Secret Service Agent, writer and national TV contributor who covers topics such as national security, law enforcement and criminal justice. She holds two Master’s Degrees: one in Forensic Psychology and the other in Journalism from Columbia University.
 
A Special Agent for the United States Secret Service for over 12 years, Evy was on the
Presidential Protective Division for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. During her career, she was a criminal investigator, worked undercover and was an interrogator for the agency’s elite polygraph unit trained in lie detection, human behavior, and cognitive influence. Evy’s heroic efforts as a first responder during the 9/11 terror attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City earned her the U.S. Secret Service Valor Award.
 
She appeared on CBS’s “The Hunted” in 2017. Evy is now a journalist, shedding light on national security and law enforcement issues. She is also an adjunct professor for The City University of New York, where she teaches criminology.
 
As an “Assessor” on SPY GAMES, Evy looks for competitors who possess active listening skills. She ultimately wants to use this experience to build the mental strength and confidence of others.
