Nick Cannon shades Steve Harvey re: Lori Harvey, Diddy

Diddy, 49, has (most likely) been dating Steve Harvey's stepdaughter Lori Harvey, 22, a whirlwind relationship that has included matching outfits in Manhattan and trips to Italy with Steve, 62, and his wife Marjorie Harvey, 55, who seem to be accepting of the May-December romance.

"I wouldn't have a problem with that, but I'd be heartbroken if that was my daughter," fellow father Nick Cannon, who knows both Diddy and Steve Harvey, told VladTV. "To each his own, but I would feel like I've failed as a father if I'm sitting across the table with a dude the same age as me that's dating my daughter. I would feel like a failure."

Nick then revealed that his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, who is 10 years older than him, is about six years younger than his mother, who gave birth to him at age 16.

"They hang out!" he shared.

Interviewer Vlad Lyubovny suggested that the Harveys are cool with the relationship because of money.

"Do you think that Lori's parents would be okay with her dating a 49-year-old truck driver?" he asked Nick.

"If he was a good truck driver!" he smiled. "Even if I feel like a failure as a father, if my daughter is 22, she's grown — she can do whatever she wants."
