New mom Serena Williams is positively smitten with her baby girl, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr. — and it's easy to see why. The five-month-old is beyond precious (seriously, you should hear our squeals when we look at photos of her) and she's already quite accomplished! No big deal, but the babe is the youngest ever cover star in the history of Vogue.
So, it's only natural that mom has big plans for her wee one's future. And, if the ability to crush tennis games like a racket-yielding goddess is genetic, it's safe to bet that Alexis will know her way around a game court. You know, right after she tackles eating solids.
That's why we're not at all surprised that the cutie pie already has her own tennis racket. After all, can it ever be too early to instill a little good sportsmanship into a child? On February 1, Williams posted a photo of her future athlete clutching a child-size racket from Wilson Tennis.
"Olympia Ohanian, at match point, championship point, even without her shoes she's hard to beat," the gushing mom quipped, referencing her daughter's bootie-bearing feet. Williams also laid forth some bold ambitions for the future, joking that her mini me will probably win 12 Wimbledon titles before we know it.
Honestly, we wouldn't be surprised if Williams' half-joking prophecy comes true. After all, Olympics is practically baby Alexis's middle name!
