The Southern Charm seamster is making major moves with his sewing business — here's what's to come.
Craig Conover is taking his pillow empire to the next level.
The Southern Charm seamster launched his own "sewing lifestyle brand" called Sewing Down South last year after viewers saw how passionate he was about pillow-making (and his friends and former girlfriend doubted that he should focus on pillows instead of starting a law practice). He took the brand on a nationwide pillow party tour and raised thousands for Hurricane Dorian relief efforts in the Bahamas. He's also helped the homeless by using pillow trimmings to create beautiful blankets to donate. Now, he's working on a spring collection with furniture company Thomasville and has even started selling his goods on the Home Shopping Network!
"We think we found the perfect home at HSN," Sewing Down South wrote on the company Facebook page when Craig appeared on the network on January 14.
"This is major," Andy Cohen said of Craig's HSN moves after Craig posted about HSN on his Instagram page.
We agree with Andy's assessment — Craig has definitely shown that he can transform a hobby into a design career with limitless possibilities and a capacity to do good at the same time.
Take a peek at some of the designs Craig has made for his spring collection with Thomasville.
"This is why you dream big and refuse to listen to anyone telling you not to follow your heart," he said of the Thomasville partnership.
"We're big believers in Craig and the team at Sewing Down South and we think this is going to be gigantic," said Nick Woodhouse from Authentic Brands Group, who made the Thomasville partnership possible.
