Alexis Bellino Shows off Her "First Black Eye Ever"

Alexis Bellino had a little accident this week — and she's got a major bruise to show for it.

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared a photo of her "first black eye ever" on Instagram on October 29. "My first black eye ever.... and I wish I had a better story for it but I gave it to myself by tripping up the stairs and the hair dryer flying back and hitting me in just the right spot to cause a gash," she explained in the post.

Alexis actually seems to be in good spirits about the injury, even using it to send a positive message to her fans. "This is real life. Anyone who shows a picture perfect entire airbrushed Instagram isn’t giving you the real. ALL people have hiccups and problems and imperfect days," she wrote in the post. "I’m so mad at myself for rushing too much through the day today causing this but I’m also laughing because you cannot make this sh^* up! Lolol!!!!"

She has even come up with a better-sounding name for her black eye, calling it a "bright blue halo" in the post.

Alexis continued to keep positive, saying she already had an appointment scheduled with her plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills "to laser a scar off my leg so now he can fix both!"

That's a good thing since Alexis seems to want things to go back to normal as soon as possible. "Day #2 black eye...I now know what UFC fighters go through with black eyes. Ugh!!!!!" she said in a post on Instagram that featured a photo of her second day with the shiner on October 30. "This is with tons of makeup on underneath. Totally swollen and purple. How long is this gonna last????"
