Andy Cohen's Sit Down with the Original Real World Cast Is Extremely Emotional
The WWHL host reunites the first Real World cast in a tearful and revealing reunion.
Break out the tissues because Andy Cohen will bring together cast members of the first season of The Real World for a long-awaited, honest, and tearful reunion after 20 years.
A special preview episode of E!’s For Real: The Story of Reality TV, including the The Real World cast reunion interview airing in its entirety, will premiere on Wednesday, February 24 on E! ahead of the the series premiere on Thursday, March 25.
"In a way, The Real World kind of saved my life," OG cast member Eric Nies shared to the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host in a preview clip, below, in which he opened up about his past substance abuse issues and shared a bit more about his time on The Real World's first season which premiered on MTV in 1992 and took place in New York City.
Elsewhere in the interview, Eric said, "If the Real World didn't happen and my life didn't go the way it did, I might have been dead."
For the sit-down with Andy, he’s joined by fellow Real World stars Norman Korpi, Julie Gentry and Heather B. Gardner.
