Antonia Gorga Joins a Sorority at the University of Delaware: "New Home"
The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter has some very big news to share from college and here's how mom, Melissa, feels about it.
Antonia Gorga has been away from her New Jersey home and has been living the college life at the University of Delaware, for the past five months.
Although leaving home and her parents, Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga, must have been hard, The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter seems to be adjusting just fine.
She has been living in the dorms (which is very different from her family's vacation home, as seen in the video clip above), doing her own laundry, and showing her parents around campus.

Antonia Gorga's Sorority at the University of Delaware Details
Antonia took to Instagram on Sunday, Feb. 19, where she announced that she had joined the sorority, Alpha Phi, at the University of Delaware.
"New home," Antonia wrote in the caption of the post, tagging the sorority's Instagram account.
In the photo carousel posted to her account, Antonia can be seen wearing a green long sleeve t-shirt and jeans, standing outside of the sorority house, and holding a sign that says "welcome to the ivy league" (the ivy leaf is a symbol of the sorority).
There was much anticipation leading up to this decision. Antonia had posted a "get ready with me" video to her TikTok on day two of sorority recruitment week, showing her followers how she curled her hair with the Dyson Air Wrap in preparation for the day. A few days later, Antonia posted another video to TikTok of her lip synching to a song before the pref round.

Antonia wasn't the only one celebrating this big decision. Antonia's mom took to her Instagram feed shortly after to repost the photos of her daughter outside of the Alpha Phi house on Bid Day. "And just like that, she's in a sorority," Melissa wrote in the caption of the post. "Congratulations my girl! So excited for you and this sisterhood."
"So excited for my baby girl!," Melissa added in another post on her Instagram Story.
Finally, Antonia will get to be surrounded by sisters after growing up as the big sister to her two little brothers — Gino and Joey Gorga.

Melissa had previously expressed her excitement for her daughter's new chapter in an interview with People in February 2023, even though her husband was panicking.
"She needs to know what it's like to wash her own clothes and buy her own detergent," she said. "I just think she needs that."
"I do everything for her," she added. "It's good for her to be independent and learn who she is, so I'm excited for her. It's going to be a huge change not to have her bossing us around this house like she does, but I think it's going to be great for her."
