Ashley Darby Reveals Michael Darby Will Be Getting a Vasectomy
The Real Housewives of Potomac mama is currently expecting her second child.
With baby number two on the way, Ashley Darby’s family is growing! The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member has been open about her motherhood journey from the beginning, and recently shared some details about her second bundle of joy on an episode of the Reality Live with Kate Casey podcast.
Ashley confirmed that Dean’s little sibling already has a name, and although she did not share the baby’s moniker, she teased, “All the children’s names would start with D.”
Although the phrase “all the children” sure made it sound like Ashley is planning to have lots of children, she later confirmed that she and husband Michael Darby aren’t planning to have more than two.
“This is it. We’re sticking a needle in it,” said Ashley. “Quite literally, Michael has said that after we have this healthy child, that he’s going to biologically make it so he can’t have children anymore.”
Ashley also confirmed the couple’s plans during an interview with The Daily Dish, in which she said, “He’s probably gonna get a vasectomy, which was news to me.”
In addition to being a mama to baby Dean, Ashley is also a stepmother to Michael’s children from a previous relationship. She opened up about her relationship with them, as well.
“You see all these stories on TV, like Parent Trap, and I was like, man this is just going to be a nightmare for me. They’re going to be so mean to me. They’re going to have all these preconceived notions about me. But it was the completely opposite experience. They were so kind to me, completely loving, very open,” she said. “It took a little bit for us to get closer, but now we’re really like family.”
