Bethenny Frankel's Talk Show Is Canceled
"I had a blast doing this show," the daytime host says.
Sad news!
Bethenny Frankel's syndicated daytime talk show, Bethenny, will not be renewed for a second season, the host said in a statement to Deadline Friday.
"I had a blast doing this show with Telepictures," she said. "My entire staff worked so hard and made everyday so much fun. I am thankful for the experience and for all my fans who tuned in every day."
Bethenny, executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres, struggled to grow its audience during its run. The show launched nationwide last fall after a summer test in 2012. She's not going away immediately, however: her show will continue to air through May.
During her run, the Skinny Girl mogul had plenty of memorable moments. We'll never forget her hilarious attempt at twerking—or when she coaxed Reza Farahan to shave his mustache.
Despite the end of her show, Bethenny won't have much time to sulk. She's recently added another line of drinks to her Skinny Girl brand and an unnamed source tells People, "She'll continue to grow, focus on her brands and work on her growing empire."
