Bethenny: I've Mastered the Art of Hooking a Man
Becoming a Mrs.? Piece of cake, says B.
Hook, line, and sinker: Miranda Kerr and Heidi Klum are no match for Bethenny Frankel. "I could fall in love and get someone to fall in love with me in no time," the Bethenny Ever After star writes in Glamour. "I'm not a supermodel by any means, but sit me next to any Victoria's Secret stunner in a bar and I'll come home with the husband. It's more important to be the most interesting person in the room than the prettiest!"
Getting a man's one thing, but making the relationship last? B needed extra time before acing that course. "I wanted a wealthy, smart, successful man to marry me, take care of me and create a life for me. Then I could live the good life, and he would do all the heavy lifting," she confides about life pre-Jason and $120 million. "I got married at 26, then divorced. Then I was engaged, but I broke it off. Then I was engaged again and called that one off... what I came to realize was that I was going after marriage rather than putting in the work and time to pursue what I really wanted, my dream career."
In the end, Bethenny also learned that love is just a gamble. Sort of. "Only when you learn to be happy on your own are you ready to meet The One. Why? Because scared money never wins. When you walk into a casino and you need to win to make the rent, you will lose. When you walk in just to have fun, that's when good things happen. It's the same with finding a guy."
