Here's What It Was Like Watching Those Below Deck Charter Guests Fight Over James Hough

Below Deck fans know that the drama is not just reserved for the crew members. We've also often seen the charter guests get into it over the years, and Season 8 is no exception.

In the November 9 episode of Below Deck, one of the charter guests, Shay, had expressed her interest in James Hough and was hoping to ride on the back of the jet ski with the deckhand. However, another charter guest, Lexi, ended up riding with James instead.

One of Lexi's friends called her out on that during dinner that night, which was actually in celebration of Lexi's birthday, and it erupted into an argument among all the charter guests, including primary Charley. There was so much conflict, the charter guests had barely touched Lexi's birthday cake by the end of the episode.

So, what was it like to actually see all this go down on the yacht? Stew Izzy Wouters filled us in during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on November 9. "My reaction, I was like, what are you doing? Are you 12? Like, you're meant to be grown-ass adult women, why are you acting this way?" Izzy recalled. "But I was loving it because guest drama is one of the best parts of working on boats."

One member of the virtual WWHL audience also asked Izzy if she thought James was worth being fought over by the charter guests. Check out her response in the clip, above.
