Would You Spend $500,00 On Your Pooch?
#MDLNY's Fredrik Eklund examines the ultra luxe ways folks pamper their pets in the digital series Ka-Ching!
Some people will do anything for (puppy) love. And that includes dropping loads of cash to pamper and spoil their pets, as we see in the latest episode of Million Dollar Listing's Ka-Ching! hosted by Million Dollar Listing New York agent Fredrik Eklund. For instance, one lucky bulldog's owner shelled out $500,000 for a diamond and gold dog collar for him to wear to the dog park — oh, and to a fashion show in Paris. So, NBD. Don't they say diamonds are a dog's best friend?
Of course, if you're not willing to make that kind of investment in your furry bestie, you can dip your toe in the lifestyle at Chateau Poochie in Pompano Beach, FL. There your pets can stay in luxury accommodations complete with a concierge to fulfill their every need, including conference calls and limo rides.
But if your pets are happier at home and not at the chateau, there's always this ultra-glam dog house. Known as La Petite Maison, it was inspired by the kinds of chalets and mansions you might see in Switzerland and costs nearly $25,000. Clearly nothing is too good for Rover.
