Fredrik Eklund's book The Sell is now an international bestseller. Just last month, the Million Dollar Listing New York star shared that the release was a New York Times bestseller and now comes word it's also made a wave back in his home country of Sweden.
Fredrik shared the news on Instagram while out and about in his adopted hometown of New York City. "I love this city. The things I get to see, wherever I turn my head," he writes. "Today I found out that my book, The Sell (Sälj!), was the NUMBER ONE non-fiction book in Sweden in the month of April! That's an entire month of sales, all books, all titles, in my home country! THE BEST SELLING NON-FICTION BOOK!!!!!!!!!! THANK UUUUUU."
Well that sounds high-kick worthy!
The book includes advice on "Getting Past No," "Show People Just Who You Are" and "Be You: Forget Selling—Begin Finding Yourself."
"I've seen and done so many amazing and rewarding things and I wanted to put all that in a book and send it off and see what happens," he told the Daily News last month about the release. "It's a message in a bottle."
And he noted that the book's wisdom is handy even for those who don't work in real estate. "It doesn't matter what industry you're in," he says. "After all, we're all selling ourselves all the time, whether you're on a date, on a job interview or just negotiating with your dog."
