"Here are some photos and videos during the early renovations full of love, it feels like ages ago for some reason," Fredrik continued, pointing to the various photos in the series which showed off the gorgeous renovations the realtor and his husband did on the space.

Fredrik added: "The video with Milla is from the very first day we went and saw the house for the first time. And I’ll never forget the feeling when we walked in and the potential it had to us. And then time flies and here we are."

He concluded his post: "The house holds so many beautiful memories and I know how happy the new owner will be - congrats all around!"

Fredrik Eklund reflects on his family's "overwhelming" move to Miami

Though Fredrik was happy to relocate to the Sunshine State, he still took some time to adjust.

In an August 2023 Instagram post, the real estate agent shared an honest update about his family's Miami move, noting how "overwhelming" the situation was at the time.

“Moving across the country is a lot. Derek has been back in LA overseeing the furniture move to our house in Connecticut, and I foolishly thought I could do the first week here and the kids' new school alone without a nanny," he shared.

The first week wasn't a walk in the park, but Fredrik insisted there were still plenty of good moments to be had.

“In all the big moving- and transition stuff there’s been a lot of beautiful emotions too," he continued, "taking the kids and sending them off to their first day of school in their little uniforms (I didn’t cry!), endless sunrises and sunsets over the beach, Pura Vida’s açaí-bowls in the tropical heat, the animals at Jungle Island...”
