Dr. Wendy Has a Shade-Filled Response to Gizelle and Robyn's Talk About Her Marriage
Dr. Wendy Osefo also has a theory on why Gizelle Bryant doesn't want to talk about her relationship with Jamal on RHOP.
Earlier this season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Gizelle Bryant noted that there were some rumors floating around about Dr. Wendy Osefo's husband, Eddie. So, as Gizelle and Robyn Dixon discussed the changes in Wendy's personality and appearance this season in the August 15 episode of RHOP, they wondered if it had anything to do with the gossip.
Wendy wasn't present for Gizelle and Robyn's conversation. In fact, Gizelle and Robyn didn't even bring it up to Wendy when she entered the room shortly thereafter. "So concerned, but when I walk in the room?! CRICKETS," Wendy tweeted as the episode aired.
Karen Huger also added on Twitter that she felt like that would have been "a perfect time to have a private conversation" since Gizelle and Robyn seemed "so concerned."
When Wendy later saw what Gizelle and Robyn had to say on TV, she actually thought there was something "funny" about it, as she described on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on August 15. See Wendy's rebuttal that got quite the reaction from fellow WWHL guest Reza Farahan, as well as the Clubhouse audience, above.
Later on, in Sunday night's episode of RHOP, Gizelle declined to talk about the current status of her relationship with Jamal Bryant with the group in front of Karen. "No, I don't think it's because Karen is at the table," Wendy said on WWHL of why she believes Gizelle stayed mum on the subject. "I think that Gizelle likes to deflect, and by deflecting that means that she can ask questions of everyone else because that takes the attention off of her."
Karen also commented on Twitter that she thinks "it no longer is OK" for Gizelle to ask others about their relationships but not appear to be as open about her own.
As the latest episode of RHOP aired, Wendy took to Twitter to defend her new look this season, which became a major topic of conversation during the ladies' dinner in the August 15 episode. She explained that last season, she had started filming "just one month after having a baby." Wendy also reiterated one of the comments she made during the episode: "I define my sexiness, not you!"
"How a woman dresses [and] what she decides to do with her body has no bearing on her intelligence. We must stop trying to put people in a box," Wendy said in another tweet. "Women can be smart [and] sexy at the same time. We should all be allowed to live life on our own terms, not others."
Wendy was thankful to have Karen's support at the end of the episode, tweeting, "True sisterhood is uplifting your friend not tearing them down. Thank you @KARENHUGER."
