Gretchen Rossi Opens up About Her Recent Struggles as a Mom

Gretchen Rossi is asking her followers for some parenting advice after a few particularly tough nights with her baby girl, Skylar Gray Smiley. The Real Housewives of Orange County mama opened up about the fact that her one-year-old daughter is currently teething, and despite trying lots of ways to help soothe her discomfort, nothing seems to be working. 

“It’s a mood,” Gretchen captioned a photo of Skylar adorably furrowing her brow. “I have not slept in two nights from this little one teething again. OMG someone send help, she is so grouchy all day long, and every little thing upsets her…although, I don’t blame her because of those big sharp things pushing through her gums…poor thing.” 

Gretchen noted that seeing Skylar in pain has been very difficult for her. 

“As an empath and Mommy, I carry her pain and sometimes to a fault,” she wrote. “Trying to care for her, work full time, take care of the household, my man, and myself sometimes becomes overwhelming. Who’s with me?”

Gretchen continued the caption by asking for help from anyone who has been through a similar predicament. 

“Calling all mommies/parents for advice how not to carry her emotions as much as I do, and also for some good teething options! I feel like I have tried it all, but maybe there is something I haven’t seen yet. (And no, a straw is not one of those things.) Thanks in advance for any help. Love, a very exhausted Mommy,” she wrote.
