Joe Gorga Has *This* to Say About Antonia Gorga’s Latest College Update
The Real Housewives of New Jersey dad had a playful piece of advice for his University of Delaware freshman.
Joe Gorga has his eyes on his daughter Antonia, even if she's a state away. The Real Housewives of New Jersey dad recently hopped onto Instagram comments to issue a stern, very dad-like admonishment — and it made his feelings on Antonia's latest college update clear.
After graduating from high school this past summer, Joe and Melissa Gorga's daughter left for The University of Delaware in late August. For her last night at home, Antonia's parents cooked up an Italian-style home feast that the then-incoming freshman shared in a bittersweet TikTok post.
Antonia's video showed Joe tending to sausage and peppers at the stove, while her brother manned a pot of red sauce and Melissa put the finishing touches on another dish. “The last dinner before college,” Antonia wrote in the post.
The family had the celebratory dinner out by the pool at their New Jersey home. But if Joe has a say, Antonia will keep the celebrations to a minimum now that school's back in session.

In an October 1 Instagram post, Antonia shared a photo of herself flanked by two college friends. All three of the young women were wearing dresses and appeared to be headed out to a fun event. Antonia's mama Melissa gave the post a "like," but it seems that Joe wasn't as ready to double tap.
In the comments, the stand-up comedian wrote: "You better be doing your schoolwork." In all seriousness, Joe couldn't be more proud of his eldest child, or emotional that she's leaving the nest. When he and Melissa threw Antonia a party to celebrate her college acceptance last May, Joe commented on Instagram: “I don’t know if I’m happy, or I want to cry.”

Since kicking off her college career, Antonia has shared other updates about her life in Delaware. Shortly after settling into her dorm room, the college freshman shared a look at her new bedroom decor. Chic touches included a textured white comforter, a gray-and-white throw blanket, and a few edgy art pieces to spruce up the walls.
And while Antonia is no doubt keeping up with her "schoolwork," as Joe advised, she's tending to her laundry too. On September 10, Melissa took to Instagram to share a Story that showed Antonia and a friend preparing to hit the laundry room.
“These are the pics [Antonia] texts me these dayyssss,” Melissa captioned the post. “Laundry Day!”
