Julia Lemigova Shares a "Happy" Update on Her and Martina Navratilova’s Adoption Plans

On Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Miami, Julia Lemigova announced that she and her wife, Martina Navratilova, were planning to adopt a child. Unfortunately, their plans were paused when Martina was diagnosed with Stage 1 throat and early-stage breast cancer in November 2022.
In March 2023, Martina announced that she was cancer-free; however, the couple was uncertain about proceeding with the adoption process considering recent events.
While Martina was conflicted on their adoption plans, Julia remained in good faith. “I hope that we will soon expand our family,” she told Page Six in December 2023. “Our adoption plans were on hold, but we’re still not closing the door on those plans.”
Flash-forward to today, the RHOM ‘Wife is sharing new details about the expansion of their family and offers a timely update on Martina’s health.

Julia Lemigova and Martina Martina Navratilova's adoption plans and health update
During her chat with BravoTV.com before the RHOM Season 6 reunion, Julia revealed where she and Martina currently stand on having a new addition to their family. “We’re definitely at our high,” she said of their union, adding, “Martina is healthy.”
Julia continued: “We’re renewing our plans for the adoption and maybe we’ll get a happy call anytime… [I’m] just living life at [the] fullest and I don’t think of tomorrow, I think of only today.”

As it turns out, Julia is seemingly in a good place with her fellow Miami ‘Wives. However, she noted that she is a “bullish-t buster” and prides herself on “spread[ing] the truth and not the rumors.”
When it was time for Julia to confess who the last person she texted with before the final sit-down, it was no surprise that it was her BFF Adriana De Moura.
Julia Lemigova teases the RHOM Season 6 Reunion
The former model also spoke about the upcoming reunion in an interview with ET. "I think we kind of know that Guerdy [Abraira] and Larsa [Pippen] kind of had it from the beginning, and so I think probably it will be the natural thing, I would say," Julia shared.
Julia even summarized what she thought of the overall showdown with her castmates, saying, "The reunion will be spicy."
Julia Lemigova shares an update on her children
When Julia isn’t keeping up with the fast-paced Miami scene, she can be found happily at home enjoying the beautiful company of her and Martina’s daughters, Emma and Victoria.
On Christmas 2023, Julia took to social media to show how she celebrated the holiday with her family. “Wishing you a Merry Christmas filled with joy and warmth, from our family to yours!” she captioned a family photo.
A few weeks later, Julia posted an adorable photo of her and Martina kissing Victoria on the cheek as they prepared to send her off. “Nest is officially empty again. Always the hardest goodbye,” Julia wrote as the caption on the January 16 post.
