Kandi Burruss is Bonding with Her Family by Doing This Important Thing
The Real Housewives of Atlanta family is urging others to do the same.
From birthday parties to graduation celebrations, Kandi Burruss and her family have been spending plenty of quality time together this summer. The Real Housewives of Atlanta crew recently proved the importance of sticking together as a family, as they stepped out to do something incredibly important: vote!
In an August 8 Instagram post, Kandi shared a selfie in which she, her husband Todd Tucker, and her stepdaughter Kaela Tucker are proudly holding up stickers that say “I’m a Georgia voter, Kandi also rocked a purple face masks that reads “VOTE” in big, bold letters.
Kandi captioned the post, “The family that votes together,” adding, “Make sure you vote in all elections! If you #FultonCounty GA make sure that you vote on the 11th if you haven’t already! @kpt_ @todd167 and I voted early.”
Todd also shared the post to his page, writing, “Voting with my queens!!”
Although Kandi’s youngest children, Blaze and baby Ace, are too young to cast their votes, they still helped her get the word out, anyway. In a post shared on August 7, the adorable tots danced alongside their mom as she urged her followers to vote in a video that’s impossible to watch without smiling.
“The two most important things you can do this year: wear a mask, cast your ballot. Our future depends on it!” wrote Kandi.
Kandi and Todd have been vocal about encouraging others to make their voices heard, and also helped launch an initiative to inspire men to register to vote in June.
