Shade was in the air on day two of BravoCon 2023 on Nov. 4 in Las Vegas. And how could it not be when one interview panel was called “The Sharp-Witted”?

How to Watch

Moderated by Below Deck’s Kate Chastain, the chat brought together a trio of women with sharp minds and tongues to match: The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Karen Huger, The Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan, and The Real Housewives of Atlantas Shereé Whitfield.

During the conversation, there were plenty of zippy, shady one-liners, but the talk turned eventually to business when an audience member at the event posed a question for Karen.

“My question is for the Grand Dame," said a Bravo fan. "I would love to know how the home fragrance business is — and can we expect a five-wick candle in the future?”

An Update on La'Dame

When asked about her business ventures, Karen was clearly touched by the obvious support for her endeavors — and she had some big news to share. “Thank you guys so much for supporting the La'Dame brand,” she said, adding that “it really is killing it. I really appreciate you guys.”

Karen then provided some illumination about her candle line — and her four-wick versions that promise “90 hours of luxurious, sensual burning time” at the company site.

“The four-wick is out and it is not here today," Karen said, with the caveat that the candles can still be found on her website. What's more, she added, "I'll let you know if I'm going to do five wicks.”

Karen's New Venture

Karen pivoted from candles to another passion project concerning her family history. Karen is known for her strong familial bond and roots to growing up on a Virginia farm that’s been in her family for a century. As she put it at BravoCon 2023, “You guys know I own the slave plantation I’m from, right? So, I bought my grandmother's estate," she shared. "And I'm turning that into a guest house, the Grand Dame.”

“So, La'Dame will be there," Karen continued. "And you guys can have experiences there. Stay tuned.”
