Kathryn Edwards Says She Will Not Return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
After joining #RHOBH in Season 6, the former model says she won't be back.
Kathryn Edwards says she will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season.
"I feel great. I walk away from it all with great feelings. I have no regrets at all," she said in a statement to People. "It was definitely an adventure for me. I really am kind of a private person. It really just comes down to the time and what I value the most. I value those times with my husband and our friends. And I really didn't want to miss another year. It's nice to be able to live life."
Kathryn, who is married to former football pro Donnie Edwards, joined the show in Season 6 and wasn't shy to get in the mix, even facing off with RHOBH alum Faye Resnick over allegations she made in her 1994 book Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted about her former husband Marcus Allen. Her time on the series also shed light on the fact that she is deaf in one ear, and she says that bringing attention to the subject of hearing impairment was definitely worth the experience. "I feel really good walking away that I was able to get to a lot of people as far as my hearing device," Kathryn told People. "I still get messages on Facebook and Instagram from people who got the hearing device that I have and it's changed their life. That's been great. I love hearing those stories."
As for her husband, she said, "He's happy to have his wife back! He was so supportive of me trying it out, but it definitely changed our lives last year. Not to say it wasn't great, but it was different! It will be nice to reconnect and get back to our lives."
